Portero, an Internet-based auction firm, has formed an alliance with watch retailer Tourneau, which will authenticate all luxury watches purchased and sold through the site. Tourneau will ensure the original authenticity of previously owned luxury watches bought and sold on-line, while Portero will act as Tourneau's official channel to the secondary market.
