FED:Abbott wants compo for terrorism victims

CANBERRA, Feb 21 AAP - The federal opposition wants Australians killed or injured in
terrorist acts overseas to receive up to $75,000 in compensation from the government.

Opposition Leader Tony Abbott introduced a private members' bill into parliament on
Monday which would make the payments to Australians hurt in terrorist attacks overseas
and compensate the next of kin of those who are killed.
